Africa Tour
starting in Johannesburg and ending in Cape Town takes a memorable 12
days and 11
nights. You drive through the scenic regions of Mpumalanga, spend 2 days
game
viewing in the Kruger Park, then drive through
Swaziland and on into Zululand.
From Durban, you'll fly to Port
Elizabeth, then
drive to Knysna and Oudtshoorn and on via Montague to
Cape Town. Lots of sightseeing en route.
You leave on Monday
from Johannesburg and your tour ends on Friday the following
week.

Monday JOHANNESBURG
Depart for
Mpumalanga. See Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window. Overnight near
Hazyview.
DAY 2 Tuesday MPUMALANGA -
KRUGER PARK - MPUMALANGA
Early
morning game drive in Kruger National Park with pre-packed breakfast.
Search for ‘Big Five’. Enjoy prolific birdlife and numerous other
game. Afternoon at leisure at hotel. Late afternoon or night
open-vehicle game drive available (optional and for
own account).

Wednesday
MPUMALANGA
Early
morning coffee or tea. Enjoy an open vehicle game drive through
Kruger
National Park with pre-packed breakfast. Return to hotel for
afternoon.
Late
afternoon or night open-vehicle game drives available (optional and for
own account).
DAY 4
Thursday MPUMALANGA - SWAZILAND
Early
breakfast. Travel to Swaziland and visit glass factory. Complimentary
(optional) afternoon excursion to Swazi candle factory.
Overnight at hotel in Swaziland.
DAY 5 Friday SWAZILAND - ZULULAND
After
breakfast, re-enter South Africa. Enjoy afternoon game drive. Travel
to
the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi region. Overnight Hluhluwe-Umfolozi
region.
DAY 6
Saturday
ZULULAND - DURBAN
After
breakfast, you are taken to a traditional Zulu village for (ethnic)
lunch and
show displaying local culture. Overnight in Durban.

DURBAN
Spend the
day at
leisure in Durban (unescorted). Opportunity for optional Day Excursion
(own account).
DAY 8
Monday
DURBAN - PORT ELIZABETH
Transfer
to airport for Port Elizabeth flight. On arrival, transfer to hotel.
Remainder of
your day is spent at leisure. Overnight in Port Elizabeth.
DAY 9
Tuesday PORT ELIZABETH - KNYSNA
Depart for
the Tsitsikamma Mountains and beautiful indigenous forests. Your
afternoon is spent at leisure at
your hotel. Overnight in Knysna.

10 Wednesday KNYSNA
After a
leisurely
start take a lagoon cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve, trailer ride
to top
of Western Head, and walk back through milkwood trees for lunch (included)
Overnight in Knysna.
DAY 11
Thursday KNYSNA - OUDTSHOORN
You travel
over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn. Visit a typical
ostrich farm. Tour
the vast limestone Cango Caves. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
DAY 12
Friday OUDTSHOORN - CAPE TOWN
Breakfast.
Travel 'Route 62' via the ‘Klein Karoo’ and Montagu to Cape Town, where
you arrive
late afternoon. Passengers may disembark at Cape Town International
Airport by request.
