The map concentrates on the
southern half of the reserve because it is the most popular with visitors to the Kruger National Park, convenient to nearby towns, and offers a variety of  accommodation. This section also contains a higher proportion of the wildlife you want to see.

You'll notice the various entry gates, larger rest camps and surrounding 'Lowveld' towns.

The adjacent
private game reserves have been integrated into the greater Kruger Park by removing the borders, allowing freedom of movement by wildlife.
